Our Impact

Programs Increasing Access to Nutritious Food

  • 121,664 (duplicated) individuals, 27% of whom were children and 11% of whom were seniors received food from seven food pantries serving in multiple locations.
  • 36,466 meals served through the Caring Kitchen.
  • 16,320 weekend bagged lunches distributed at Cason UMC.
  • 463,506 pounds of fresh produce recovered by CROS Gleaning from local farms which was distributed to local food programs by our distribution partners (2023‐2024 gleaning season). This is the equivalent of 386,255 meals (Based on Feeding America’s equation of 1.2 lbs. of food = 1 meal).

Children's Outreach

  • 240 back-to-school backpacks given away.
  • 1,735 snacks supplied to four summer camp programs and community back-to-school events.
  • 1,015 Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes provided to local families.
